SOUTHERN ALL STARS Live Tour 2005 “みんなが好きです！”
サザンのコンサートに出掛けた。
名古屋公演は２年ぶり。
前回は野外だったので、ドームは４年ぶりとなる。
席はアリーナC１０ブロック。
このところ前から何列目、という良席が多かったので
今回はハズレだと思っていたが、
会場に着いたら想像より近く感じた。
運のいいことに通路側で、
聴いているときは通路に出られる（ほんとはダメなんだけどね）ので
左右を気にしなくてよかった。
アンコールの４曲を含め計29曲を
２時間45分、ほぼノンストップで演奏続けたサザンのメンバーに、まずは拍手。
選曲は、発売されたばかりのニューアルバムからの曲が中心だが、
いい曲が多く、飽きることはなかった。
特に気に入っていた「ロックンロール・スーパーマン」や
「別離」「ごめんよ僕が馬鹿だった」をやってくれたのはうれしかった。
良かったのは、オープニング３曲とアンコール４曲。
特に後者は、今までのアンコールでも最強といえよう。
前者のうち「希望の轍」は、
こんなに早く出していいのかと思いながらも感涙ものであった。
一方で、「マチルダBABY」「イエローマン」は
ノリが良い曲であるのはわかるけど、
何度聴いても好きになれないなあ。
それに特にこの２曲で思ったことは、PAの調子の悪さ。
低音は割れるし、桑田くんの声は聴きづらいし、
音量も大き過ぎ〜。
